The logo is an N and J mashed jointly to sort just one letter with Satan horns at the best of your N plus a pointed tail at the end of the J. The original colors, pink and green, were picked mainly because New Jersey is nicknamed the "Backyard State" (black replaced green for 1992-93). ^
